Frequently asked questions

In accordance with Article 10 of the Austrian Waste Management Act, plants that generate waste and that employ more than 20 people must have a waste management concept in place.

A waste management concept is usually valid for a period of seven years and must undergo regular updates. Regular voluntary updating offers benefits: businesses retain clear oversight of their operation’s waste situation and can identify potential for improvement early on.

  1. General information about the operation
  2. Process-related illustration
  3. Waste-related illustration
  4. An illustration of the organisational measures in place to ensure compliance with waste management legislation
  5. An estimate of future development

On request, our experts can evaluate the waste situation in order to identify potential for improvement. A helpful add-on is on-site separation training to discuss correct waste disposal methods and thereby reduce chargeable waste fractions (e.g. residual waste).

The cost depends on a number of factors, e.g. is it being newly prepared or is it an update of an existing document, the complexity of the waste streams, data availability, etc. Please contact our customer service team for a customised quote. Our experts would be happy to hear from you.
