We boast a range of highly specialised and state-of-the-art processing plants, some of which operate proprietary methods. All for the benefit of the environment and our customers. High-tech sorting plant

Meticulous preparatory work for optimal recycling. The only automatic plastic packaging sorting plant in Styria sends more than 95% of treated waste back into an environmentally-friendly materials cycle. It’s true 'Zero Waste’ closed-loop circulation.

Over 1 billion recycled batteries per year, maximum purity thanks to our employees' decades of experience and expertise.

Saubermacher Recycling

The plant processes household and portable batteries and has a capacity of 1 billion batteries per year. Patented processes developed by us enable our subsidiary Saubermacher Recycling to achieve recycling rates of up to 95 per cent.

High-energy waste is processed into high-quality alternative fuels, representing a real milestone in waste processing. Our subsidiary company ThermoTeam helps to save around 120,000 tonnes of CO2 per year and provides an alternative to some 79,000 tonnes of coal.

Recycling plant for refrigeration appliances

Dismantling of disused refrigerators, freezers, etc. With a recycling rate of 96%, the core task of refrigeration demanufacturing is near-complete recycling and professional elimination of polluting CFCs.

Kidricevo (Slovenia)

The recycling centre in Kidricevo is a state-of-the-art facility that can process and refine up to 51,000 tonnes of hazardous waste every year. Hazardous materials including acids, alkaline materials, oils, workshop waste and paint sludge are stored in an area of some 8100 m2, where they are then processed and, where possible, turned into useful materials for reuse.
