Henkel relies on services of Saubermacher Outsourcing

Saubermacher Outsourcing d.o.o., one of Saubermacher’s subsidiaries, takes over the warehouse management of various materials and raw materials as well as the produc-tion supply of Henkel plant in Maribor. As a result, 30 new jobs will be created in the region and a modern warehouse will be rented. The collaboration will begin in March 2022.

Economic stimuli for the region. The outsourcing specialist will transport more than 800 pallets per day for the Henkel plant in Maribor. To guarantee the services, Saubermacher Outsourcing Slovenia will expand its resources and take on 30 new employees. Specifically for Henkel, a storage area will be rented in the newly created logistics centre in Hoče. The storage area for Henkel amounts to 10,000 m2 and can accommodate approx. 20,000 pallets. “We already enjoy a successful partnership with Henkel Maribor. We are proud to develop this collaboration further and create additional added value in the region”, says Ralf Mittermayr, CEO of Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG. The collaboration of the two long-established companies is currently set to last six years.

Together, they plan to strategically and sustainably further develop warehousing and supply services for the plant logistics of Henkel Maribor. At the Maribor site, Henkel operates the second largest production plant for cosmetics products worldwide and wishes to become even more flexible and effective with this new collaboration. “We are looking forward to a cooperative collaboration for a sustainable, effective and growth-generating future with Saubermacher” explains Christof Vollstedt, managing director of Henkel Maribor.

Continuation of expansion in Slovenia. The extension of the customer relationship with Henkel is a major growth step for Saubermacher Outsourcing on the Slovenian market. In the Logistics Services segment in particular, they would like to position themselves more broadly in the future. “With our experience in the area of internal logistics, we offer individual solutions that can be quickly extended or adapted if needed. The Slovenian market is of particular importance for us” says Matej Blazic, managing director of Saubermacher Outsourcing in Slovenia.

Opportunities to expand services. The new logistics centre is being developed in cooperation with the investor GO ASSET Development and is equipped with cutting-edge logistics equipment. The entire storage area amounts to 31,000 m2, whereby 10,000 m2 is already rented by Saubermacher Outsourcing. The start of construction is planned for late summer 2021.
